Sign in with Laki Bits
How the app's Laki Bits account gate works, and what it does (and doesn't) unlock.
Laki Agent is gated by a Laki Bits account. Click Sign in with Laki Bits; a browser window completes the sign-in and returns to the app. The app re-verifies your session on every status check, so an expired or revoked account is caught immediately.
What signing in unlocks
- The embedded browser view (it stays hidden until you're in).
- The agent —
agent:sendrefuses to run without an approved session, as defense-in-depth. - The terminal tab — opening it re-checks for an approved session too.
This is not your Salesforce login
Signing in (or out) of Laki Bits does not touch your Salesforce sessions, and vice-versa. They're independent. Your org login lives in the browser's persistent session; your Laki Bits account gates the app. To clear your Salesforce sessions specifically, use Sign out of Salesforce (see Connecting Salesforce).
This separation is deliberate: your org security (SSO, IP ranges, MFA, trusted-browser tokens) belongs to Salesforce and your IdP, and Laki Agent never sits in the middle of it.
